The mission of the Maquoketa activities program is to provide a positive environment in which leadership, self-discipline, teamwork, and competitiveness are promoted and established. Our goal is to assist our students in developing lifelong character and leadership skills, including sportsmanship and determination while participating in school activities.

Maquoketa is a member of the River Valley Conference. The River Valley Conference and Maquoketa sponsor a wide range of activities including speech, drama, art, along with football, volleyball, basketball and track to name just a few of the activities we offer at Maquoketa High School.
