We are excited to offer summer programming this year beginning June 3rd through June 27th for students who will be entering kindergarten through current 5th graders. The program will focus on engaging in learning activities that support literacy, numeracy, and social/emotional growth. Please read below for details and complete the registration form by Wednesday, May 15th if you would like your child to attend.
Some updates we have been able to make due to Maquoketa being rewarded the "Beyond the Bell" grant from the Iowa Department of Education--
** Transportation will be provided this summer (morning, midday, and afternoon
** 4th/5th grade- we are looking to also offer a full day opportunity
The Details:
When: June 3rd through June 27th (Monday through Thursday-no programming on Fridays).
Who: Current 4 year olds (attending Kindergarten next year) : Attend at Cardinal Elementary from 8:30 am-11:30 am (will not participate in afternoon activities).
Current Kindergarten through 3rd grade students: Attend at Briggs Elementary. Academic activities will be from 8:30 am-11:30 am, lunch and enrichment activities provided from 11:30 am -2:30 pm. Pick-up by 3:00 pm.
Current 4th and 5th grade students: Attend at Briggs Elementary. Academic activities will be from 8:30 am-11:30 am, lunch, and enrichment activities will now be provided from 11:30 am -2:30 pm. Pick-up by 3:00 pm.

Please notify your student's building or fill out the registration form by Wednesday, May 15th. If you already have signed up for summer school, we will be notifying you to see if you are interested in changing your registration for transportation or full day for 4th/5th graders.
