Mrs. Johnson's class loves practicing their math facts on 99math. They have set a goal to reach as a class and have been so close to reaching it! They love a good challenge!

2nd Grade business partners, Maquoketa State Bank visited today and taught us all about the dime. We counted various amounts of dimes and mixed coins. Our students learned:
•Franklin D. Roosevelt is the president on the dime
•He was the 32nd president
•a dime's value is 10 cents
•it takes 10 dimes to make $1
•looked at what year each dime was made

Today we got to recognize our 1st and 2nd grade Leaders of the Week and shared a few Staff Shout Outs! We are grateful that so many in the building are sharing their leadership skills by "Putting First Things First", "Thinking Win-Win", and "Being Proactive!"

Cardinal Preschool has been busy with Snow & Ice themed activities since returning from winter break. It’s great to make connections and see our theme come to life outside, but we’re hoping for calmer winter weather these next few weeks so we can keep the learning and fun going at school!! ❄️😊🩵☃️🥳

Mrs. Johnson's class has really enjoyed our yoga lessons from Challenge to Change. We just finished up our fourth lesson with them! Yoga naps are their favorite part of our yoga time.
