iJag

We are excited to announce the launch of the iJAG (Iowa Jobs for America’s Graduates) program at Maquoketa High School! This innovative initiative is designed to support students in their journey toward graduation and successful careers.

iJAG focuses on providing high school students with the skills and resources necessary to thrive in today’s competitive job market. Through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on experiences, students will learn vital skills such as leadership, teamwork, and effective communication. The program also emphasizes career exploration and development, equipping students with the tools they need to make informed decisions about their future.

This semester, we will be rolling out an introduction to the iJAG program for interested students. This introductory phase will provide students with insights into the program's benefits and opportunities. Following this, we are excited to announce that we will implement the program on a larger scale beginning in January.

In addition to academic support, iJAG offers mentorship opportunities, connecting students with industry professionals who can guide them in their career paths. The program aims to foster a sense of community and belonging, ensuring that every student feels supported in their educational journey.

We encourage parents to learn more about the iJAG program and how it can benefit their children. Together, we can empower our students to achieve their goals and succeed in their future endeavors.
