The 6th-grade Digital Arts class recently hosted their much-anticipated "Restaurant Takeover" presentation, and it was an absolute hit! After months of brainstorming, designing, and refining their ideas, students had the chance to showcase the incredible restaurant concepts they’ve been working on all semester.
The journey started with the basics: choosing a name, designing a logo, and crafting a catchy slogan. From there, they dove into the details, creating menus, floor plans, and business cards—essentially everything needed to bring their restaurant dreams to life. Along the way, they used digital tools to submit their work on Canvas and practiced pitching their ideas in class with the assignment, “Congratulations on starting your dream restaurant!” The project encouraged them to think big and present their concepts as if to potential investors.
For the grand finale, students built interactive booths to showcase all their hard work during the after-school event. Parents, peers, and community members were invited to explore the booths, marvel at the creativity on display, and celebrate the students’ entrepreneurial spirit. The atmosphere was electric as the young innovators proudly shared their ideas, leaving everyone inspired—and maybe even a little hungry!
This project was a true testament to the students’ dedication and creativity. It combined digital skills, artistic expression, and business know-how, providing an unforgettable learning experience. A huge thank you to everyone who attended and supported our students in their "Restaurant Takeover" journey!
