6th grade Social Studies classes held an Ancient Maya Culture Fair today after school. Students researched a topic. They wrote paragraphs about the claim, evidence, and reasoning. Then they created a slideshow, tri-fold board, and a craft or activity for guests. They did a great job!

The 8th grade Sprint Medley team of Millie Wing, Jensyn Johnson, Ryley Galloway and Natalie Hackman broke their own record from earleir in the season tonight at the RVC North Conference Meet at Northeast with a time of 2:03.15. They also broke the RVC North girls conference record held by Cascade that was set in 2016. The previous record was 2:08.78. Way to go, ladies!

Great day for 7th grade to take their learning outside to Lakehurst Dam, here in Maquoketa, Ia. We participated in 5 different learning outdoor classrooms! Thank you to all the volunteers, MMS staff, the Hurstville Interpretive Center, and World Renewable Energy! Great day!
