Cardinal Elementary Families,
Today will be a virtual learning day. Please complete the "must do" activities for Day 2 in the virtual learning packets and return them with your child on Monday, March 25th. A reminder that this will count towards their attendance for today. Teachers will be available online through the ROOMS app if you have any questions. Enjoy the spring snow day and stay safe!
Maquoketa Families,
We will have a two hour delay today, Friday, March 22nd. The Maquoketa area seems to be in a pocket of a more dense snow than some of the areas around us. Thank You for your understanding and patience.
The peer reading going on in Mrs. Trusty’s first grade classroom has been amazing!
Talented and Gifted students in kindergarten finished their Project Lead the Way casts when learning about the structure and function of the human body.

This week we celebrated the end of the Kid's Heart Challenge. We had 51 students participate in the challenge and brought in $1,865. Dollars raised help fund community initiatives, education, research and quality of care – all to fight the No. 1 killer in the world, heart disease. The votes were in and Mr. Shipper was selected to take a pie in the face. Thanks for being a team player Mr. Schipper!
Mrs. Klemme's students are showing they know how to synergize!! They are working together to build a cup pyramid!!
Ms. Ellen's club is also working to synergize during our Cardinal Club time.
