Preschool has had an exciting week! 😀 We’ve enjoyed the dress-up days, AND we released our butterflies! 🦋 Woohoo!!! 🥳 Where in the world did this school year go?! Preschool graduation is in less than a week. 🥹🫶🏼🎓

2nd graders enjoyed a field trip to the YMCA! We spent our day swimming and playing the pool. Enjoyed the beautiful weather with a picnic outside. Basketball, volleyball, and soccer were some of the favorite activities in the gym.







Please join us at Cardinal Elementary on the Carnival Day (May 29th) for a BBQ in the cafeteria as well. The flyer will have more information about cost and grade level eating times. Hope you can join us!

Today Cardinal Elementary wore GREEN to bring awareness to Mental Health. 2nd Grade got to wear PJ's a day early since they will be at the YMCA tomorrow. Tomorrow the rest of us get to wear PJs.






Two more 1st graders met their goal of reading 5 days a week since October. Way to go Bradley and Jaslynn!



Today was "Wellness Wednesday" as a reminder to "sharpen our Saw" and take care of our heart, mind, body, and soul in recognition of Mental Health Awareness week. Tomorrow we are encouraging students to wear green OR if you are in 2nd grade you can wear PJ's instead since they will be visiting the YMCA on Friday. Tonight you will find a free book coming home called, Dragon Flight School. This is a book provided to all students from Eastern Iowa Mental Health and Disability Services. The story is about a dragon who learns how to treat others with kindness and calm down when he is frustrated. Enjoy reading this book with your child.
