Hello Cardinal Elementary Families,
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. As we transition into the cooler months, I want to remind everyone that temperatures can fluctuate significantly. It’s important for students to dress appropriately for recess to ensure their comfort and well-being.
I’ve attached a poster outlining our expectations for recess attire. Please review it with your child to help them make the best choices for their outdoor time.
Thank you for your attention to this matter!
Warm regards,
Sara Bennis
Cardinal Elementary Principal

Mrs. Neyens deserves a big shout out for coming out of retirement to teach a 2nd grade class. She is building relationships with the students. She arrives early to prepare for the day so she is ready for the students. Her willingness to go the extra mile, whether it was engaging the students in creative activities, or ensuring that her lessons were delivered smoothly, does not go unnoticed. Thank you Mrs. Neyens for your commitment to providing a positive learning environment. Your hard work truly makes a difference!
Ms. Sue is an amazing support for our preschool friends and even helps to guide our second grade friends to make good choices at recess. She is very knowledgeable in supporting students as they learn sounds and how to use those sounds to make words. The relationships she builds with students and her kind, caring nature let students know that she cares about them and their success. Thank you for being a great leader, Ms. Sue!
