Mrs. Edward's research and technical writing students participated in speed interviewing. Students took turns being the interviewer and the interviewee. This activity was to prepare them for their upcoming mock interviews.
Daniel Hagen participated in the 2023 OPUS Honor Choir at Iowa State University. Daniel was selected to participate in the 7/8 Bass Choir which consists of 180 bass singers from across the state of Iowa. They rehearsed all day and gave a great concert. Great job Daniel!

Today in Mr. McLaughlin's Biology Class, students created bubbles to represent the plasma membrane of the cell. The students explored various attributes involving the cell. The kids really enjoyed trying to make huge bubbles.

Middle School students honored our Veterans with a student led assembly. Thank You to all of our Veterans who have served our country and to our students for doing an amazing job at being respectful and demonstrating their gratitude.
Congratulations to our Maquoketa High School actors and stage hands who participated in the performance of Chaos in Camelot. It was a great show! Thank you to all those in the community who were able to attend!
Following the play performance, Middle School students held a rock, paper scissors tournament. The kids had a blast cheering for each other. The grand champion was Mrs. Lanham with student, Iris Wagner being a very gracious runner up.
