Congratulations to Maquoketa HS students who were inducted into the National Honor Society. This organization recognizes students for their dedication to learning and service. Our guest speakers shared information about Robert A. Millikan who our chapter is named after. He is a graduate of Maquoketa and was the Nobel Prize winner for physics in 1923. This is a great tribute to our community and a wonderful way to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of this achievement.
